VERRE Gallery — Lifetime Warranty Policy

1. Our Commitment

VERRE Gallery is the only glass basin manufacturer in the world to offer a lifetime warranty on its handcrafted glass pieces. This warranty reflects 25+ years of mastered craftsmanship, rigorous quality control, and an unconditional commitment to excellence.

We stand behind every piece we create — for life.


2. What Is Covered

The VERRE Gallery Lifetime Warranty covers the following manufacturing defects, for the lifetime of the original purchaser:

  • Structural defects arising from the manufacturing process
  • Discoloration or pigment alteration not caused by external chemical agents
  • Thermal shock fractures resulting from a material or manufacturing defect
  • Surface delamination or internal glass separation due to a fusion defect

In the event of a valid warranty claim, VERRE Gallery will replace the defective piece at no charge. Replacement of the piece is the sole remedy provided under this warranty.


3. What Is NOT Covered

Installation & Handling

  • Damage resulting from improper, unprofessional, or non-compliant installation
  • Damage caused during transport, handling, or moving after delivery
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow VERRE Gallery’s installation specifications

Physical Damage

  • Accidental breakage, impacts, drops, or chips
  • Cracks or fractures caused by external mechanical force
  • Damage caused by thermal shock from improper use (e.g., sudden temperature changes from misuse)

Maintenance & Chemical Damage

  • Damage caused by abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemical products
  • Surface scratching from improper cleaning methods
  • Staining caused by prolonged exposure to chemicals, dyes, or non-recommended products

Modifications & Third-Party Work

  • Any piece that has been modified, repaired, or altered by a party other than VERRE Gallery
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs or modifications

Commercial Use

  • Pieces installed in commercial, hospitality, rental, or multi-unit residential properties are not covered under this lifetime warranty unless a separate commercial warranty agreement has been established in writing with VERRE Gallery

Normal Variations

  • Minor surface variations, natural light refraction differences, or slight color variations inherent to handcrafted glass are characteristics of artisanal production and are not considered defects

4. Shipping, Customs & Associated Costs

The Lifetime Warranty covers the replacement of the defective piece only.

The following costs are expressly excluded and remain the sole responsibility of the warranty claimant:

  • All outbound and return shipping costs
  • Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees
  • Packaging and handling fees
  • Installation costs for the replacement piece
  • Any incidental or consequential costs related to the warranty claim

VERRE Gallery will provide the replacement piece free of charge. All logistics costs associated with the return of the defective piece and the delivery of the replacement are the responsibility of the client.


5. Conditions of Warranty Activation

To be eligible for warranty coverage, all of the following conditions must be met:

  1. Proof of purchase — Original order confirmation or invoice from VERRE Gallery must be provided
  2. Professional installation — The piece must have been installed by a qualified professional in accordance with VERRE Gallery’s installation specifications
  3. Residential use only — The piece must be installed in a private residential setting under normal use conditions
  4. Original purchaser — The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable
  5. Timely reporting — Any defect must be reported to VERRE Gallery within 14 days of delivery, with photographic evidence. Manufacturing defects are expected to be identifiable upon unpacking and inspection of the piece

6. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us at customersupport@verregallery.com with the subject line: Warranty Claim — [Your Order Number]
  2. Provide the following:
    • Original proof of purchase
    • Photographs clearly showing the defect (minimum 3 photos from different angles)
    • Description of the defect and when it was first noticed
    • Proof of professional installation (installer name, contact, and date)
  3. VERRE Gallery will review your claim within 10 business days and notify you of the outcome
  4. If approved, VERRE Gallery will arrange for the replacement piece to be manufactured and shipped. Standard production time of 4 to 6 weeks applies
  5. Return of defective piece may be required at the client’s expense prior to shipment of the replacement

7. Limitation of Liability

The VERRE Gallery Lifetime Warranty is limited exclusively to the replacement of the defective piece. VERRE Gallery shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of use, loss of enjoyment, or diminution in property value
  • Costs of removal, reinstallation, or associated renovation work
  • Any damages exceeding the original purchase price of the piece

8. Fraud & Abuse Prevention

VERRE Gallery reserves the right to:

  • Require independent inspection of any claimed defect by a VERRE Gallery-appointed representative
  • Decline warranty claims where evidence of misuse, negligence, accidental damage, or fraudulent misrepresentation is found
  • Void the warranty entirely in cases of deliberate misrepresentation or abuse of the warranty process
  • Limit warranty claims to one replacement per original piece purchased

Any attempt to submit a fraudulent warranty claim may result in permanent exclusion from warranty coverage and may be subject to legal action.


9. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
