The Atelier
The Atelier
Where fire meets mastery.
At VERRE GALLERY, every basin is born from an ancient dialogue between the artisan and the flame. Our Canadian atelier is home to a rare and exacting discipline — the multilayer fusion and gravity thermoforming of glass — a process that transforms raw molten material into objects of enduring beauty.
The Art of Multilayer Fusion
Each piece begins as layers of carefully selected glass, fused together at extreme temperatures in our industrial kilns. This multilayer technique creates depth, luminosity, and structural integrity that cannot be replicated by machine. The result is glass that breathes — alive with light, texture, and character.
Gravity Thermoforming & The Art of Finishing
Once fused, each slab is thermoformed by gravity into our hand-crafted custom molds — a slow, precise process governed by heat, time, and the natural pull of the earth. What follows is where true mastery reveals itself: the finishing. Every edge, every surface, every detail is shaped by hand with unwavering expertise and precision. A discipline of constant attention, where no moment is left to chance.
Made in Canada
Our atelier is rooted in Canada, where a small team of dedicated glassmakers works in close collaboration with architects, interior designers, and discerning collectors worldwide. From concept to completion, every VERRE GALLERY piece is made to order — conceived for spaces where beauty is non-negotiable.
"We do not manufacture. We create."
